The Director, Transnational Education (TNE) Partnerships of Victoria University, Australia, one of the affiliated foreign universities of NSBM, paid an official visit to NSBM premises on 29th of May 2023.

Ms. Caryn Nery, Director, TNE Partnerships of Victoria University, Australia, was warmly welcomed by the top management of NSBM, followed by a cordial interaction and formal discussion about the updates on the partnership between NSBM and VU and future potential strategies for enhancing the partnership.

NSBM Team included the Vice Chancellor, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic Development & Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Dean Faculty of Business Ms. Thilini De Silva, Dean Faculty of Computing Dr. Rasika Ranaweera, Head of the Department of Marketing and Tourism/ Head of Marketing, Mr Venura Colombage Lecturer/ Country Coordinator for Australian Partnerships Ms. Kalni Peiris, VU Faculty Coordinator – Faculty of Computing Mr. Gayan Perera and academia representing the two faculties.

The Director, TNE Partnerships, also took part in an interactive session, engaging in friendly conversations with undergraduates who are studying for VU degrees at NSBM and graduates who are proudly part of the VU Alumni now. Furthermore, the visit concluded with a campus tour of NSBM premises to explore the state-of-the-art facilities and modern resources.
