Day 3 of NSBM Convocation Week marked the end with the conclusion of ceremonial graduation of NSBM Faculty of Computing students who completed BSc (Hons) Computer Network, BSc (Hons) Computer Security, and BSc (Hons) Software Engineering affiliated to University of Plymouth. The conferment of the degrees to nearly 450 graduates was done under three sessions.

The Vice Chancellor of NSBM, Prof E A Weerasinghe, conferred degrees along with the distinguished participation of Chief Guests of the sessions: Hon Minister Dr Ramesh Pathirana, Minister of Plantation, Dr Ajith Madurapperuma, Senior Lecturer in Computer Engineering, Open University of Sri Lanka, and Prof. Charitha Herath – Chairman of the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE).

Further, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of NSBM, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake and Academics glamoured the ceremony with their presence.

Out of 390+ Plymouth qualified computing graduates, Mr Ranul Pasan Ladduwahetty won the Gold Medal Award for Overall Best Performance in the Faculty of Computing. He also received the prize for the Best Performance in Software Engineering.
