The students who follow BSc Hons in Technology Management at NSBM Green University recently engaged in an enriching experience with an industrial visit to IFS Sri Lanka on 18th March 2024. The visit featured several insightful sessions, aiming to provide NSBM students with hands-on knowledge in the implementation and functioning of ERP systems within a business environment, alongside insights into their integration with emerging technologies. Additionally, the students benefited from a comprehensive session on personal development, including guidance on CV writing.

The sessions were facilitated by Mr. Kasun Ariyadasa – Senior Director of Software Engineering and Mr. Rifkhan Arbee -Specialist, Talent Acquisition and Employer Branding, adding valuable insights into ERP systems and personal development.

The industry visit was mainly organized by Ms. Pavithra Kankanamge, Senior Lecturer; Ms. Lakni Peiris, Lecturer attached to the Faculty of Computing and Mr. Rushdi Hadi – Manager of Career Guidance with guidance from Dr. Chaminda Wijesignhe Dean of Faculty of Computing, Dr Mohamed Shafraz, Head, Department of Software Engineering and Information Systems.
