Profile
Ms. Thaksala Weerasekara graduated from the Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management (Second-class upper). Additionally, she pursued a Master of Business Administration in Marketing at the University of Colombo.
Ms. Weerasekara brings over 7 years of corporate experience in the Agri export industry, with a focus on roles pertaining to International Marketing and Business Development. Prior to joining NSBM, she served as a visiting lecturer for nearly 3 years at both the Sri Lanka Institute of Advanced Technological Education and the University of Colombo.
In her pursuit of professional development, Ms. Weerasekara successfully completed a Diploma in International Trade Management offered by the National Institute of Exports, followed by a Certificate in Operational Aspects of International Trade offered by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board. She is an Associate Member of the Sri Lankan Institute of Marketing and currently serves in the Department of Marketing and Tourism at the Faculty of Business of NSBM Green University.
