Ms. Dulanjali Wijesekara is a graduate from the University of Moratuwa, with B.Sc. (Hons.) in Information Technology and Management. Currently, she is reading for her Master of Philosophy (MPhil) at the University of Moratuwa. She has completed her Higher National Diploma in Management Information Technology at the University of Colombo. Furthermore through a fully-funded scholarship from Commonwealth of learning, Canada she also have completed advanced courses on Data Science: Foundation Using R, Advanced-Data Science, Managing Data Analytics from the University of JOHNS HOPKINS, Completed Advanced Course on Excel to MySQL: Analytic Techniques for Business from DUKE University, Advanced Search Engine Optimization course from the University of California, Davis and Better Business Writing in English from Georgia Institute of Technology. She also has completed professional qualifications on Google Analytics and has verified from Google.

She has commenced her academic career as a Visiting Lecturer and as an Assistant Lecturer in two reputed Private higher educational institutes. Upon completion of her B.Sc., she has worked as an Intern Full stack developer and a Business Analyst in Sri Lanka Customs. Her research interests include IoT (especially bound with the natural environment, and smart cities), Software related researches, Data mining, and Big Data related researches. She is also willing to take part in any ongoing researches and to work as a research assistant in any prevailing researches to explore herself in different areas in her free time.
