Mr. Thisal Yatawara is a product of D. S. Senanayake College Colombo, currently serving as a lecturer attached to the Department of Marketing and Tourism Management, Faculty of Business at the NSBM Green University Town. He obtained his Degree from the NSBM Green University affiliated with Plymouth University (UK) specializing in the field of International Business Management with a First Class. He is also a passed finalist of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA-UK). Furthermore, he has pursued a corporate career in cross functions in a leading FMCG company, Sri Lanka.

Mr. Thisal was a former National Badminton player who has won a Silver medal at SAG games in 2016. He was also the Sports Council President and the Games captain for NSBM Green University in 2018 and currently, he serves as the Master in charge of the Badminton Club of NSBM.
