The Sinhala and Hindu Avurudu Celebration of NSBM Staff was drawn to a successful end on 31st March 2023 at the NSBM premises. The event which comprised various games and colourful activities, created a delightful festive mood as the staff members and their families indulged in the joy of Avurudu.

NSBM Staff Avurudu Celebration was organized by the NSBM Staff Welfare Society under the patronage of Vice-Chancellor Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, and it was participated by the Top Management, Academic and Non-academic Staff and their family members.

The activities of the event commenced with traditional Avurudu rituals, including lighting the oil lamp and sharing Avurudu sweetmeats and followed by a series of Avurudu games which added an unforgettable experience for all the participants. The event was successfully concluded with a cultural show which joined in the colourful traditional vibe and entertainment.
