The orientation program of the NSBM Foundation programme for the July 2023 Intake of 2023 marked a thrilling beginning on 12th July 2023 at the Green University premises and continued for three successful days ending on 14th July.  

The orientation program is specially designed for the newly enrolled batch for the NSBM Foundation programme in order to familiarize the students with the university and its proceedings prior to commencing the academic semester to pave the way to creating a fully equipped undergraduate.   

The Day 1 of the programme was facilitated by Deputy Vice-Chancellor of NSBM Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Dean of Faculty of Business, Ms. Thilini De Silva, Dean of Faculty of Computing, Dr. Rasika Ranaweera, Head, Department of Accounting and Finance, Ms. Anne Pathiranage and Course Coordinators. 

Day 2 comprised sessions by Head – Academic Development, Prof Baratha Dodankotuwa, Senior Lecturer/ Senior Student Counsellor, Mr. Prasanna Perera, and Dean – Faculty of Science, Dr. Nuwanthi Katuwawila. While on Day 3 a special student awareness session was conducted by Retired Senior DIG of Police, Mr. Priyantha Jayakody and it also consisted of sessions by Mr. Thisal Yatawara, Head of Student Affairs.  

The programme marked the conclusion with a campus tour where all the new entrants for the foundation programme had the opportunity to witness the facilities and amenities on campus.
