The Doctoral Study Area of NSBM Green University was officially declared open on 26th September 2022 by the Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, in the presence of Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head – Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Dean – Faculty of Postgraduate Studies and Professional Advancement, Dr Chaminda Wijesinghe, Senior Manager – Administration, Mr Kapila Liyanage and several staff members of NSBM.

The Doctoral Study Area is a dedicated space for PhD studies located in the NSBM’s Faculty of Computing building. This area is a scholarly workspace for NSBM doctoral students, which consists of both individual and group study spaces for research and writing, as well as an area that may be reserved for group meetings and collaborative research when necessary.
