The much-anticipated annual sports meet of NSBM Green University, NSBM Sports Fiesta 2025, was officially announced yesterday at the university grounds in the presence of academics and students.

The event was officially launched by Ms. Aushadharie Kaushalya, Head of Student Affairs, signaling the beginning of an exciting journey with the initial house meetings. Students teamed up with their lecturers and peers to strategize their path to victory, leaving everyone wondering who will claim the championship trophy for 2025.

The event also featured the introduction of the Chief Organisers: Mr. Dineth Bamunukula; Mr. Piumal Herath; Ms. Shashini Rathnayake and Ms. Shanika Sewwandi. Additionally, the House Lecturers in Charge were presented, each leading their respective houses with passion and dedication: Citrine Warriors – Mr. Vihanga Senevirathne & Ms. Lakni Horanage; Ruby Adventurers – Mr. Diluka Wijesinghe & Ms. Lakni Peiris; Emerald Fighters – Mr. Sachindu Madhushara & Ms. Chathuprabha Kasthuriarachchige and Sapphire Heroes – Mr. Supun Gajendrasinghe & Ms. Sachini Tharaka
