NSBM Youth Film Festival, organized by the Multimedia Circle of NSBM, recently drew to a close, serving as an illustrious platform for young and enthusiastic creators to convey their vision through the art of short filmmaking. With a focus on nurturing budding talent, the festival featured three main categories: Intra-University, Inter-School, and Inter-University (UGC Approved).

The festival unfolded with a series of sessions, commencing on March 21st with the screening of nominated short films. The highly anticipated Grand Award ceremony was held on March 22nd at the NSBM Auditorium with the distinguished presence of esteemed guests. The renowned Sri Lankan actor, Mr. Hemasiri Liyanage graced the occasion as the Chief Guest for the award ceremony.

Adding to the grandeur of the occasion were the Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice Chancellor Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, and Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa. Joining them were luminaries such as Dean of the Faculty of Business, Ms. Thilini De Silva, and Head of Marketing and Tourism Management, Mr. Venura Colombage, alongside the Maters-In-Charge of the Multimedia Circle, Mr. Tharaka Nayanpriya, and Mr. Hasantha Dissanayake. The event was further enlivened by the presence of nominees from various schools and universities, infusing the atmosphere with dynamism and youthful exuberance.
