The newest October 2024 Intake at NSBM Green University kicked off the academic journey with the Orientation Programme commenced on 29th October 2024 at the university’s Green campus. This dynamic program is designed to provide newly enrolled students with a comprehensive introduction to university life, highlighting the transformative nature of their academic journey while familiarizing them with the university’s operations and resources.
Day 1 of the orientation commenced with a series of insightful sessions, crafted to immerse students in the university experience and set a strong foundation for their studies. Esteemed speakers included Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance Prof. Baratha J. Dodankotuwa, Dean of the Faculty of Business Ms. Thilini De Silva, Head of the Department of Management Ms. Bhasuri Amarathunga, Head of the Department of Software Engineering Dr. Mohomad Shafraz, and Head of Student Affairs Ms. Aushadharie Kaushalya. Joining them were respected academic staff members, including Prof. Dushar Dayarathne, Ms. Kalni Pieris, Ms. Gimhani Rangalle, Ms. Imasha Adihetti, and Ms. Udani Dilrangi, each contributing valuable insights to the students.

The day concluded with a campus tour, where new students had the opportunity to explore NSBM’s state-of-the-art facilities and amenities, offering them a firsthand glimpse into the university’s commitment to a rich and supportive learning environment.
