NSBM Green University proudly welcomed a delegation from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIMB) in India for an official visit on September 4th, 2024. The delegation comprised Prof. R. Srinivasan, Professor in Corporate Strategy and Policy, and Dr. Padmini Srinivasan, Professor in Finance and Accounting Area/ Chairperson – Executive Education Programmes and Centre for Corporate Governance & Sustainability.
The IIMB delegation was warmly welcomed to the NSBM premises upon their arrival. They were taken on a comprehensive campus tour, offering them a firsthand experience of NSBM’s facilities and ongoing advancements. Following the tour, an insightful discussion was held between the delegation and NSBM’s top management, exploring potential academic collaborations. The meeting was led by NSBM Vice-Chancellor, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, alongside Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake; Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa; Dean of the Faculty of Business, Ms. Thilini De Silva; Dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr. Nuwanthi Katuwawila; and Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Rasika Ranaweera.
