The very first batch of students from the Department of Economics and Decision Sciences at NSBM Green University paid a visit to explore Sri Lanka’s economic heritage. Tthe undergraduates of the BM (Hons) in Business Analytics and BM (Hons) in Applied Economics degree programs visited The Central Point – Economic History Museum On the 21st of July 2023. 

The Economic History Museum, an initiative by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka displays a wide range of exhibits which build the economic history of the country from the 3rd century BC up to the current date.  

Led by a team of knowledgeable and passionate educators at the museum, this enlighting visit allowed NSBM students to delve into the economic evolution of Sri Lanka, gaining valuable insights into the nation’s economy. The museum’s staff made enthusiastic efforts to share their expertise, engaging the young minds in lively discussions and providing valuable context.
