NSBM BSc Hons in Technology Management degree undergraduates explored “Business Process and Enterprise Resource Planning in the Light of Global Trends in Ethical Use of AI and Emerging Technologies for Ensuring Sustainability” by participating in a remarkable session conducted by Dr. Kushani De Silva. It was organized by the Faculty of Computing, making a pathway for globally important, innovative, and exciting interactive session on Global Trends in Business Process and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP); AI Governance, and Data Ethics Landscape for Promoting Sustainability Disclosure held on 01st April 2025.
The session witnessed active student participation, allowing them to gain up-to-date knowledge on AI ethics, responsible AI deployment, and the integration of emerging technologies in business processes and ERP. Engaging practical exercises and scenario analyses enhanced students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills, particularly in leveraging AI and technology for sustainable and accountable industry practices.
The session was conducted by the distinguished Dr. Kushani De Silva — Founder/CEO of Gloir.K, Subject Matter Expert at CRDF Global, and UN Expert in Strategic Risk Reduction. The event was organized under the leadership of Ms. Pavithra Kankanamge, Head of the Industry Collaboration Unit of the Faculty of Computing, with contributions from Ms. Lakni Peiris, Lecturer in the Department of Software Engineering and Information Systems.
