NSBM Green University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sri Jayawardenepura Hospital on 30^th June 2023, with the key objective of facilitating clinical training for NSBM nursing undergraduates. This partnership was initiated by NSBM’s Faculty of Science, setting the stage for its aspiring nursing officers to gain invaluable hands-on clinical experience, working alongside experienced healthcare professionals in a real-world hospital environment. 

This landmark MoU was exchanged between the Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe and the Chairman of Sri Jayawardenepura Hospital, Dr. Y. D. Nihal Jayathilake in the presence of the Deputy Vice Chancellor of NSBM, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Dean – Faculty of Science, Dr. Nuwanthi Katuwavila and Ms. Sharmili Ravindrarajan- Lecturer in Charge of Nursing degrees at NSBM. Representing Sri Jayawardenepura Hospital, the occasion was participated by the Director,  Dr. Rathnasiri A Hewage and Chief Nursing Officer, Mrs. A N Saputhanthri.
