As part of their ongoing visit to New Zealand, the Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Professor E. A. Weerasinghe, and Deputy Vice Chancellor, Professor Chaminda Rathnayake, paid an official visit to Lincoln University, a globally recognized leader in agribusiness and commerce education.
The NSBM leadership was warmly received by Professor Alan Renwick, Acting Dean and Associate Dean (Research) of the Faculty of Agribusiness and Commerce and Chair of the Lincoln University Research Committee; Dr. Lahiru Gunasekara, Lecturer in Supply Chain Management; and Mr. Patrick Yeung, International Recruitment Advisor at Lincoln University.
The meeting focused on exploring collaborative opportunities between the two institutions, including the development of academic pathway programmes, potential for joint research initiatives, and enhanced student mobility. Both parties expressed a strong commitment to building a sustainable partnership that would expand international opportunities for Sri Lankan students and foster global academic exchange.
