NSBM joins ties with SLIM for collaborative endeavours
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Department of Marketing and Tourism Management, Faculty of Business, NSBM Green University and Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) on 6th September 2022 at the university premises.
SLIM is the apex body for Sri Lankan Marketers, which is recognised as the National Body for Marketing in Sri Lanka. This mutually beneficial partnership between SLIM and NSBM is aimed at knowledge sharing, collaborative research, talent acquisition, and corporate brand building.
The MoU was signed between Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Vice-Chancellor of NSBM Green University and Mr. Nuwan Gamage, President of Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing, in the presence of a bilateral delegation comprising Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Head of Academic Development & Quality Assurance, Ms. Thilini de Silva, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Mr. Venura Colombage, Head of Department of Marketing and Tourism Management, and the fellow academics of the Department as the representatives of NSBM, while SLIM was represented by Mr. Sanath Senenayake, CEO of SLIM, Dr Kapila Fonseka, Head of Education of SLIM and several other officials.
