The Islamic Society of NSBM Green University successfully hosted Iftar ‘25, the Annual Iftar of NSBM Green University, on March 19, 2025, bringing together students, academics, and esteemed guests in a spirit of togetherness and reflection.

 

The event was honored by the presence of Vice Chancellor, Prof. E.A. Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Deans of the Faculties, Masters In-Charge of the society, Dr. Mohamed Shafraz, Head of the Department of Software Engineering and Information Systems, and Mr. Shaja Musthaffa, Head of the Department of Operations and Logistics, along with NSBM staff members.

 

This blessed evening was a beautiful reminder of the values of compassion, gratitude, and unity. The gathering not only strengthened our bonds but also highlighted the importance of embracing diversity and fostering mutual respect within our university community.
