NSBM Green University inked a Memorandum of Understanding with the Institute of CFA Sri Lanka, marking a milestone in the field of accounting and finance of the university. This strategic collaboration is set to significantly enhance the academic and professional development of NSBM students, particularly those in the Department of Accounting and Finance.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was formalised in a signing ceremony between Prof. Chamindha Rathnayake, Deputy Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University, and Mr. Travis Gomez, Secretary and Director to the Board of CFA Sri Lanka. This momentous occasion was witnessed by Ms. Arati Porwal, Country Head of India, CFA Institute, Mr. Sachin Naik, Director of Partnerships and Client Solutions, CFA Institute, Mr. Aruna Alwis, Chief Executive Officer of CFA Sri Lanka, Ms. Sandunika Perera, Coordinator of CFA Society Sri Lanka and Ms. Anne Pathiranage, Head of the Department of Accounting & Finance. Academics from the Department of Accounting & Finance at NSBM were also present.
