NSBM Green University extended a warm welcome to the newest batch of students who enrolled in the September 2023 Intake of PhD, Masters and Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Programmes. 

The Inauguration Ceremony for the new intake was held on the 24th of September 2023, at the Green Boardroom of NSBM Green University. The ceremony, which brought together distinguished guests, Academic Staff and newly enrolled postgraduate candidates, proudly welcomed six PhD candidates, along with over 70 Masters and Postgraduate Diploma students, to the NSBM academic community. 

The ceremony unfolded in the esteemed presence of the Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Dean – Faculty of Postgraduate Studeies and Professional Advancement, Dr. Chaminda Wijesinghe, along with the Deans of the other four faculties, heads of the departments as well as academic and non-academic staff of NSBM Green University. 

The ceremony was graced by an inspiring Keynote Speaker, Mr. Thilak Piyadigama, Former CEO- SDB Bank and Director of Pelwatte Dairy Industries (Pvt.) Limited, who left an indelible mark with his insightful address. 

During this momentous occasion, the Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, and several other esteemed members of the NSBM academic community took the stage to congratulate the new batch of postgraduate students for choosing NSBM as their destination for success and shed light on their future postgraduate journey at NSBM Green University. It also comprised two experience-sharing sessions by a current MBA student and a PhD student, who shared a glimpse into their exciting academic journey.
