NSBM Green University proudly welcomed the June 2024 intake of Masters, and Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) students with the ceremonial inauguration held on June 15, 2024, at the prestigious Green Boardroom. The event brought together distinguished guests, NSBM Academic Staff, and over 70 new students into the vibrant academic community of NSBM.

 

The ceremony unfolded in the esteemed presence of the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Dean – Faculty of Postgraduate Studies and Professional Advancement, Dr. Rasika Ranaweers, along with the Deans of the other faculties, heads of the departments as well as academic and non-academic staff of NSBM Green University. 

 

The ceremony featured an inspiring keynote address by Mr. Damith Pallewatta, CEO of Hatton National Bank PLC, who left a lasting impression with his insightful speech. Throughout the event, the Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, and several other esteemed members of the NSBM academic community took the stage to congratulate the new cohort and illuminate their future academic journey at NSBM.

 

The event also marked the special occasion of Launching the “Journal of Multidisciplinary Research” published by NSBM Green University.
