NSBM Green University proudly welcomed the newest cohort of aspiring minds into the vibrant NSBM community with an Inauguration Ceremony held on 28th October 2024, amid the lush greenery of its campus. This ceremony marked the beginning of the academic journey for the October 2024 Intake, celebrating a significant milestone in each student’s educational path.
The NSBM Degree Inauguration Ceremony for October 2024 was honored by the esteemed presence of the Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe; Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake; Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. J. Baratha Dodankotuwa; along with the Deans of faculties and other dedicated academic and non-academic staff. The event was further enhanced by the enthusiastic participation of newly enrolled students and their proud parents, who shared this special occasion.
A highlight of the ceremony was the inspiring keynote address by Mr. Chanuka Wattegama, a Policy Researcher, whose words motivated students to approach their journey with purpose and ambition.
The Deputy Vice Chancellor, and Ms. Thilini De Silva, Dean of the Faculty of Business, also addressed the audience. They commended students on choosing NSBM for their higher education and shared valuable insights into the unique opportunities, vibrant campus life, and future possibilities awaiting them. Their words offered guidance and encouragement to both students and parents as they embark on this exciting chapter.
