NSBM Green University reached a proud milestone with the Business Dialogue Fellowship Gathering ’23, held on 1st December 2023 at the NSBM Auditorium. This grand event signifies a new milestone in NSBM’s journey of knowledge integration and fostering collaboration, networking, and a collective vision for the future development of Sri Lanka.
Business Dialogue Fellowship Gathering ’23 brought together a distinguished gathering of eminent personnel from diverse sectors. The central theme of the event was “The Way Forward Sri Lanka,” where the gathering delved into discussions on the socio-economic landscape, exploring avenues for sustainable development.
The event featured impactful keynote addresses by Hon. Mr. Anura Dissanayaka, the Secretary to the Prime Minister, and Mr. Dilith Jayaweera, Sri Lankan Entrepreneur.
The occasion was also graced by the presence of the Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head – Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Prof. Sampath Amaratunge, Chairperson of the University Grants Commission, Sri Lanka, Mr. Sujeewa Mudalige, Charted Accountant and Board Member of NSBM Green University, Deans of the faculties, industry experts, entrepreneurs, academics and students of NSBM.
Adding another layer of significance to the event, the latest issue of ‘Business Dialogue’ was officially launched. Themed ‘From So Sri Lanka to So Sustainable Sri Lanka,’ this issue focuses on leveraging tourism for economic resurgence, aligning with the broader discourse on sustainable development.
