NSBM Green University signed a Letter of Intent with Massey University, New Zealand, to formalize a pathway from NSBM Master of Business Administration (MBA) Programme into the Massey MBA. This partnership marks a significant step in providing Sri Lankan students with the opportunity to gain international exposure by completing part of their MBA in New Zealand, along with the opportunity to obtain a post-study work permit.
The official signing took place on March 2, 2025, at Massey University during the visit of NSBM Green University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, and Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake. As part of the visit, they engaged in insightful discussions on the partnership and its future prospects with senior officials from Massey University, including Prof. Sasha Molchanov, Associate Head of the School of Accountancy and Finance; Prof. Hung Do, Professor of Finance at Massey Business School; and Mr. Chris Carey, Executive Director of Global Engagement.
This collaboration with Massey University, one of New Zealand’s leading institutions, marks a significant milestone in NSBM Green University’s mission to provide globally recognized educational opportunities for Sri Lankan students. Massey University is ranked 96th worldwide for its high ratio of international students and 112nd globally for its international faculty ratio. Additionally, the university has been awarded an esteemed 5+ QS Stars rating across nine categories, including employability, environmental impact, facilities, global engagement, innovation, and research excellence.
