In keeping with NSBM’s constant strive to offer its students and staff a better university experience, NSBM Green University together with Finagle Lanka, one of the leading bakery products manufacturers and exporters in Sri Lanka opened CAFE BY Finagle at NSBM Green University premises in Faculty of Computing Basement 1.
The opening of the outlet was held on 10th November 2023 and it was declared open together by the Vice Chancellor of NSBM, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Managing Director of Finagle Lanka, Mr. Mahinda Ranasinghe, and the Chairman of Phoenix Ventures – the Holding Company of Brandix, Mr. Aslam Omarin, in the presence of Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, CEO of Finagle Lanka, Mr. Kushan Amarasinghe, Director – Marketing and Sales of Finagle Lanka, Mr.Buddhi Rathnayake. Representing NSBM Green University, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Chairman, Food Committee of NSBM, Lasitha De Silva and non-academic staff members took part in this momentous occasion.
This new venture elevates the campus experience for the entire NSBM community, providing a convenient and inviting space for students and staff to gather, relax, and enjoy quality offerings from CAFE BY Finagle.
