NSBM Green University marked its 7th year milestone with a special ceremony that involved the participation of all staff members.
This inspiring event was held at the auditorium, where the Vice Chancellor Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe delivered a profound address to the staff. As the founder and visionary leader of this incredible higher education institute, he reminisced on the journey of the past 7 years, highlighting the key milestones, academic accomplishments, research contributions, and the positive impact the university has had on the students and the wider community.
The significance of this occasion was underlined by the addresses of Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa and Senior Manager – Administration, Mr. Kapila Liyanage, who also took a moment to reflect on the university’s achievements and growth since its inception.
The event was further glamoured by the Deans of the five faculties, Heads of the departments, and Academic and Non-Academic staff.
