Marking a significant stride in NSBM’s endeavours towards global outreach, a delegation from NSBM Green University is currently visiting IIT Madras to explore potential avenues for collaboration. The delegation includes the Vice Chancellor, Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe; Member of the Board of Directors and Senate, Mr. Sujeewa Mudalige, Dean of the Faculty of Computing, Dr. Chaminda Wijesinghe; Dean of the Faculty of Engineering; Dr. Chandana Perera; Head of the Department of Software Engineering & Information Systems, Dr. Mohamed Shafraz; and Head of the Department of Computer and Data Science, Mr. Naji Saravanabavan.

During their visit, the NSBM delegation toured the university premises, witnessed the state-of-the-art facilities, and explored innovative laboratories and centers at IIT Madras. They also engaged in meet-and-greet sessions with IIT academics and officials to discuss mutual interests and collaborative opportunities.

The collaboration between IIT Madras and NSBM aims to establish an incubation center in Sri Lanka, leveraging the expertise and resources of both institutions. Also, the partnership expects to promote innovation, entrepreneurship, and technological advancement in the region.
