NSBM Green University’s Faculty of Science, in collaboration with NFORCE, proudly launched the second version of the “FFS – Future Fit Scientist” program. Designed as an industry awareness initiative, “FFS – Future Fit Scientist V2” prepares third-year science undergraduates for their upcoming internships, equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in their professional journeys. This three-day program features expert-led sessions tailored to bridge the gap between academia and industry, offering students invaluable insights into corporate expectations and industry standards.
On Day 1, Mr. Rushdi Hadhi, Manager – Career Guidance at NSBM, led a practical session on CV writing, providing students with essential tools for showcasing their skills to potential employers. Day 2 included a keynote address by Mr. Sudath Silva, General Manager – Human Resources & Sustainability at Jat Holdings PLC, a prominent paint manufacturer, who shared valuable advice on transitioning from campus life to the corporate world. The day continued with a session by Mr. Kamal Ganganath, Senior Manager – Technical & Quality at Hemas Hospitals Pvt Ltd, focusing on career pathways in the hospital environment followed by Nestlé’s session on career pathways in nutrition advisory.                                   

The final day featured Sunshine Holdings, offering guidance on career paths in sales, business development, and manufacturing, specifically for science graduates. This day’s sessions concluded with a special address by Dr. T. Sayandhan, CEO of Sunshine Medical Devices and Lina Manufacturing, who inspired students with his insights into navigating diverse career paths in the industry.
