The Faculty of Science at NSBM Green University proudly marked its third anniversary—three years of nurturing the next generation of science graduates!

To commemorate this milestone, a special celebration was held on 3rd April 2025 at the Auditorium, featuring two segments in the morning and the evening with the much-anticipated Warna Deha talent show in the evening.

The morning segment was graced by esteemed guests, including Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa (Head of Academic Development & Quality Assurance), Ms. Thilini De Silva (Dean – Faculty of Business), Dr. Rasika Ranaweera (Dean – Faculty of Computing), and Dr. Nuwanthi Katuwavila (Dean – Faculty of Science), along with distinguished academics and members of the NSBM community.

Adding immense value to the occasion, two captivating keynote speeches were delivered by  Prof. Sameera Samarakoon – Professor in Cell & Molecular Biology, University of Colombo and Dr. T. Sayandhan – CEO, Sunshine Medical Devices & Lina Manufacturing. A key highlight of the day was the launch of the 4th issue of “IN VISION”, the Faculty’s annual magazine, themed “Insights of Latest Medical Diagnostics and Disease Detection.”

The celebrations culminated with Warna Deha, a vibrant talent show where students of the Faculty of Science showcased their singing, dancing, and drama performances, bringing energy and excitement to the evening!
