NSBM Faculty of Engineering proudly celebrated its 5^th successful year on 10^th May 2023. In line with the anniversary celebration, the faculty carries out a series of exciting events and activities which marked the beginning with the undergraduate projects exhibition held demonstrating the ongoing projects and completed projects at the Faculty of Engineering. Meanwhile, the “Fusion 2023 – The Engineering Day” was also launched and announced to be held on 25^th May at the NSBM Green University.

The occasion was graced with the presence of Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Head – Academic Development & Quality Assurance, Dr. Chandana Perera, Deans of the Faculty of Computing, and academics of NSBM Faculty of Computing.

Concurrently, the Renewable Energy Club of Faculty of Engineering organized “Green Energy Challenge 2023” competition organized by with the purpose of encouraging research and providing renewable energy solutions to the prevailing energy crisis in Sri Lanka. This initiative intends to create innovative concepts/solutions to address major energy-related problems faced by Sri Lanka with the help of leading companies in the renewable energy industry in the country.
