NSBM Green University, in partnership with Jaipuria Institute of Management, India, has proudly launched a significant initiative to enhance global exposure for students titled “Student Immersion Programme 2024”. This specially curated programme parallelly engages students from both institutions in a 10-day cross-cultural experience that immerses them in the diverse landscape of international business, blending academic learning, industry insights, cultural exploration, and social engagement.
The Student Immersion Programme 2024 officially kicked off on September 6, 2024, with a vibrant welcoming ceremony at both destinations—Sri Lanka and India. This groundbreaking programme marks the first-of-its-kind initiative by Faculty of Business at NSBM Green University, setting a new benchmark for international academic collaboration.
On the inaugural day, Jaipuria students at NSBM were treated to a tour of the picturesque NSBM campus, an aesthetic session, and a city tour, providing them with a glimpse into Sri Lankan culture. Simultaneously, NSBM students at Jaipuria also enjoyed a campus tour followed by a special session on “Happiness and Wellbeing,” culminating in a memorable heritage dinner. Leading the NSBM delegation is Senior Lecturer/Head of Professional Development Mr. Lasitha De Silva, while the delegation of Jaipuria Institute of Management is guided by Prof. Oum Kumari R.
