The Faculty of Computing at NSBM Green University successfully hosted an inspiring and thought-provoking interactive session on “Navigating the Digital Frontier: Ethical Imperatives in the Age of AI and Emerging Technologies” on 20th March 2025.

The session was conducted by the distinguished Dr. Kushani De Silva — Founder/CEO of Gloir.K, Subject Matter Expert at CRDF Global, and UN Expert in Strategic Risk Reduction. The event was organized under the leadership of Ms. Pavithra Kankanamge, Head of the Industry Collaboration Unit of the Faculty of Computing, with contributions from Ms. Dulanjalie Wijesekara, Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Data Science, and the academic staff of NSBM Green University.

It was remarkable to witness the high level of engagement and enthusiasm displayed by the students throughout the session, making it a truly impactful learning experience. The session centered around developing critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills in data ethics.
