The CompuVate Association of the Faculty of Computing at NSBM Green University recently hosted the DesignSprint Competition in collaboration with Zone 24×7 Pvt Ltd. This event provided students with a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in real-world project execution within the UI/UX discipline.

Participants delved into fundamental UI/UX concepts, tackled real design challenges, and applied industry-driven methodologies to their projects. The competition aimed to enhance practical learning, bridge the gap between academia and industry, and nurture the next generation of UI/UX professionals.

The event featured esteemed resource persons from Zone 24×7, Mr. Madushani Dissanayake – Senior UI/UX Engineer, Mr. Timothy Samuel – Associate Software Engineer and Mr. Mahesh Silva – Senior UI Engineer.

Furthermore, the event was enriched by the presence of distinguished faculty members from NSBM Green University, including Dr. Rasika Ranaweera – Dean, Faculty of Computing), Ms. Dulanjalee Wijesekara – Lecturer, Department of Computer Science and Data Science, Ms. Lakni Peiris – Mistress-in-Charge, CompuVate Association, and Ms. Yasanthika Mathotaarachchi – Lecturer, Department of Software Engineering and Information Systems.
