Enchantment filled the air at ‘Halo 2023,’ an evening of Christmas carols that graced the halls of NSBM Green University’s auditoriums on 5th December 2023.

 

Led by the Catholic and Christian society, this magical event was honoured by the esteemed presence of Dr. Ajith Fernando, Teaching Director and former National Director of Youth for Christ (YFC) in Sri Lanka, and an Adjunct Lecturer at Colombo Theological Seminary. Additionally, it was a privilege to have Ms. Nancy Padma, Sri Lanka Campus Crusade for Christ’s Leader’s Led Movement Leader and National Prayer Coordinator, Mr. Kalpa De Silva, the Digital Ministry Coordinator for Sri Lanka Campus Crusade for Christ and University of Kelaniya Ministry Leader, and Mrs. Gangani Gunasekera, Sri Lanka Campus Crusade for Christ’s Women’s Strategy Leader and Ruhuna University Ministry Coordinator.

 

Their impactful leadership, coupled with the support of Vice Chancellor Prof. E.A Weerasinghe, Head Academic Prof. Bharatha Dodankotuwa, Deans of the faculties, and attendees from all spheres, transformed this evening into a heartwarming celebration of unity, joy, and the true spirit of Christmas. Together, we rejoiced in the melodies that echoed the sentiments of love and togetherness, fostering a profound sense of community and camaraderie among all present.
