NSBM Green University’s Career Fair 2023 proved to be a grand success, offering a gateway for fresh graduates and undergraduates to find greatness in their careers. The two-day event, held on December 2nd and December 3rd, 2023, at the Student Centre of NSBM Green University, provided an exclusive platform for fresh graduates exploring entry-level employment and undergraduates eager to secure internships and training opportunities.
The Career Fair 2023 was inaugurated on Day 1 by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, in the presence of Ms. Thilini De Silva, Dean of the Faculty of Business, Ms. Aushadarie Kaushalya, Head of Student Affairs, Mr. Mohomad Rushdi, Manager – NFORCE, NSBM staff members, and representatives from leading corporations.
Day 1 saw a surge in success stories, particularly for students from the Faculty of Business, who secured on-the-spot opportunities with prominent companies. The day brought together a diverse array of esteemed organizations from the industry.
As the Career Fair moved into Day 2, it offered opportunities for students from the Faculty of Computing and Engineering, presenting a vibrant platform for budding talents in computing and engineering to explore entry-level positions and internships with leading companies.
The event’s success was amplified by the presence of Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Dr. Chaminda Wijesinghe, Dean of the Faculty of Computing, Dr. Rasika Ranaweera, Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies, Dr. Chandana Perera, Manager – NFORCE, Mr. Mohomad Rushdi, NSBM staff members, and representatives from key corporates.
With the participation of over 50 leading companies, the NSBM Career Fair 2023 provided an expansive platform for students to explore and connect with industry leaders. The event showcased diverse opportunities, ensuring that students could find the perfect fit for their skills and aspirations. Many were able to secure numerous on-the-spot openings.
