In commemoration of its 7th anniversary, NSBM Green University organises an array of activities, including a Religious Blessing Week to invoke the blessings of diverse spiritualities. The week began with “Naadham ‘23”, a Hindu religious ceremony held on 23rd October 2023 at NSBM premises.
The ceremony commenced with religious observations conducted by a Hindu Priest. Adding a touch of cultural vibrancy, the NSBM Dancing Club livened up the audience with a mesmerizing traditional dance performance. The highlight of the day was a captivating performance by the internationally acclaimed “Naathaswara” artist, Mr. Kumaran Panchamoorthy, and his team who played traditional music that resonated through the premises.
The event saw the participation of distinguished guests, including the Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University Prof E. A. Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, esteemed Deans, faculty members, and the academic and administrative staff.
This auspicious ceremony was thoughtfully organized by the Hindu Society of NSBM under the leadership of MIC Mr. Naji Saravanapavan, bringing together the university community in a spirit of unity and cultural diversity.
