MADFEST 2024, the first of its kind at NSBM Green University, celebrated the incredible impact of mobile applications on our daily lives. Hosted by the Department of Software Engineering & Information Systems, Faculty of Computing, in collaboration with the Students’ Circle of Software Engineering, this festival showcased the remarkable talent of NSBM student developers, highlighting their innovative creations and contributions to mobile technology.
The ceremony unfolded in the presence of the Deputy Vice Chancellor of NSBM, Professor Chaminda Rathnayake, and the Dean of the Faculty of Computing, Dr. Chaminda Wijeysinghe. We extend our gratitude to the Head of the Department of Software Engineering and Information Systems, Dr. Mohamed Shafraz, the Head of the Department of Computer Science and Data Science, Mr. Naji Saravanabavan, and our esteemed chief guests: Mr. Dilan Perera, Mr. P.M. Dharmatilake (Manager, 123STEM and Former Director General – Research, Ministry of Education), Mr. Kasun Dayarathne (Project Manager, Ceyleon Solutions), and Mr. Sushain Dilishan (Senior Software Engineer, Sysco Labs).
