“IMMINENT’22”, the Annual NSBM Logistics Day organized by the Logistics Circle of NSBM Green University, was held on the 5th of December 2022 at the NSBM Green University premises.

This event was organized under the theme of “Future of Logistics with Sustainability concepts”, having the objective of enhancing the university students’ knowledge whilst giving an opportunity for all the logistics-related universities across the country to receive a thorough understanding of the future of the logistics industry and to raise their awareness of the sector.

The event was graced by the guest of honour Mr. Imalka Kumarapeli – Director/CEO of Expolanka Freight (Pvt) Ltd, Ms. Thilini De Silva – Dean of the Faculty of Business, Mr. Channa Gunawardana – Director/ CEO of Expelogix (Pvt) Ltd, Mr. Sajitha De Mel – Director of Advent Global Management (Pvt) Ltd, Mr. Charuka Marasinghe – Export Manager at Hirdaramani Group, Mr. Shaja Musthaffa and Mr. Praveen Ranaweera – Lecturers in charge of NSBM Logistics Circle.

Further, the academics and logistics undergraduates of University of Moratuwa, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, University of Colombo, Ocean University of Sri Lanka, and CINEC Maritime Campus also took part in the event.
