The Installation Ceremony of NSBM Speakers’ Club was held recently in a true embodiment of the club’s vision of empowering voices, fostering leaders, and shaping the future’s confident communicators. The ceremony provided a platform to showcase students’ leadership potential and commitment to effective communication.

The event was graced by the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake; Dean – Faculty of Business, Ms. Thilini De Silva; Dr. Rasika Ranaweera; Dean – Faculty of Computing; Dean – Faculty of Postgraduate Studies and Professional Advancement, Dr. Chaminda Wijesinghe; Head of Student Affairs, Ms. Aushadharie Kaushalya along with the Masters in Charge of NSBM Speakers’ Club, Ms. Ashani Jayasundara and Mr. Kulandaivel Sachin, whose dedication and leadership were instrumental in making this event a success.

The Installation Ceremony began with a warm welcome from the host, followed by the badging of the new executive committee members. Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake delivered a notable speech on overcoming communication barriers and the importance of leadership. Following this, the President of the NSBM Speakers’ Club presented the vision and mission for the upcoming term, and the ceremony continued with the members taking the oath, pledging their dedication to the club’s values and goals.
