The inauguration event of CILT FOSTER 2023, the CILT Industry Mentoring Programme, took place on 11^th August 2023, at NSBM Green University. The programme was organized by CILT Sri Lanka to mark a significant milestone, serving both as a recognition of the successful completion of the 2022 mentoring programme through certification and the initiation of the newly enrolled mentees into the CILT Foster 2023 mentoring programme.

The event was facilitated by NSBM’s Department of Operations and Logistics under the guidance of the Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Prof. E.A. Weerasinghe and Dean of the Faculty of Business, Ms. Thilini De Silva and with the support of the Head of the Department of Operations and Logistics, Mr. Shaja Musthaffa and dedicated lecturers of the department, Mr. Praveen Ranaweera, and Mr. Maleesha Edirisinghe, along with Logistics Circle of NSBM.

This special occasion was graced by the esteemed presence of Deputy Managing Director of Advantis Group, Dr. Asanka Ratnayake, President of CILT Sri Lanka, Dr. Namali Sirisoma, Vice President of CILT Sri Lanka, Prof. H.R. Pasindu, Vice President of CILT Sri Lanka, Ms. Maithree Attanayake, Head of NSBM’s Department of Operations and Logistics, Mr. Shaja Musthaffa, along with CILT Council Members, academics from various universities, industry experts, mentors, and mentees.

Among the participants were dedicated academic staff members and students from NSBM Green University, along with esteemed representatives from other prominent universities, such as the University of Moratuwa, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, and Ocean University Sri Lanka.
