The Inauguration Ceremony of NSBM Sports Fiesta 2024 kicked off with great zeal on February 1st, 2024, at the NSBM Phase 02 ground.
This grand ceremony saw the graceful presence of esteemed guests including the Vice-Chancellor Prof. E. A. Weerasinghe, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance Prof. Bharatha Dodankotuwa, Head of Student Affairs Ms. Aushadari Kaushalya, and dedicated lecturers of the university grace.
The energy soared as the first sports event, football, unfolded. All four houses showcased incredible spirit and skill, competing fervently to claim victory for their house. In a display of true sportsmanship and determination, the Emerald Fighters emerged triumphant, clinching the top spot amidst fierce competition. Citrine Warriors secured the runner-up position, while Ruby Adventurers earned the second-runner-up.
