The Inauguration Ceremony to officially inaugurate the 7th Intake of Interest-Free Student Loan Scheme (IFSLS) of Ministry of Education commenced with Session 1, which concluded successfully at NSBM Auditorium. Nearly 500 new entrants and their parents participated in the event, setting a promising tone for the journey ahead at NSBM Green University.
The Ceremony was honored by the presence of distinguished individuals, including the Deputy Vice Chancellor – Prof. Chaminda Rathanyake, Head of Academic Development & Quality Assurance – Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Ms. Chandima Janaki, Director of Interest-Free Student Loan Division, Ministry of Education, Ms. Wasana Premarathne, Asst. Director of Interest-Free Student Loan Division, Ministry of Education, Deans of five faculties, Heads of the Departments, academic and non-academic staff of NSBM.
During the Inauguration Ceremony, the Deputy Vice Chancellor, the Head of Academic Development & Quality Assurance, the Director of Interest-Free Student Loan Division from the Ministry of Education, and several other senior academics from NSBM shared warm greetings with the new students. They also offered valuable insights into the exciting undergraduate journey awaiting the students at NSBM and encouraged them to embrace new knowledge, skills, and attitudes during their time.
