The Department of Computer and Data Science has launched an exciting series of workshops focusing on “Machine Learning for Industry 4.0”. This timely initiative aims to prepare NSBM Computing students for the rapidly evolving AI revolution.
The inaugural workshop, held on August 24th, 2024, set a strong foundation for the series. Led by Mr. Shamal De Silva, a Machine Learning Engineer at Oret IT Sri Lanka, the session was both engaging and insightful, leaving participants energized and eager for more. The overwhelmingly positive feedback from a large group of participants speaks highlighted the positive impact of this initiative.
