The inaugural day of the leadership programme for the 23.1 Plymouth batch of the Faculty of Business commenced on the 26th of February 2024 in the Auditorium with an enlightening session titled “Elevate Your Standards in Emotional Intelligence and Communication.” The session was conducted by Ms. Nadie Kahatapitiya Algama, who holds the esteemed position of Director of Marketing & Strategy at KIK Group. Ms. Algama is a multifaceted individual, boasting a background as an engineer, motivational trainer, public speaker, singer, music composer, and lyricist.

The session was designed to be both informative and interactive, providing participants with invaluable insights into the pivotal role of emotional intelligence and effective communication in leadership roles. It was met with enthusiasm, setting a positive tone for the remainder of the leadership program.
