IMMINENT’ 24, the annual Logistics Day organized by the Logistics Circle of NSBM Green University, was held on March 20th, 2024, marking a momentous occasion in the realm of logistics. The event unfolded, illuminating the path forward with the theme of ‘Next Wave Logistics with Industry 5.0’.
The day commenced with a keynote address delivered by the esteemed Ms. Rumal Fernando, the Head of Customer Service and Logistics at Unilever Sri Lanka. With eloquence and authority, Ms. Fernando articulated a vision for the future that resonated with the audience, emphasizing the importance of embracing change and harnessing technology to drive progress in the logistics sector.
The highlight of the day was the dynamic panel discussion featuring distinguished voices including Mr. Nishan Hewagamage, the Chief Executive Officer at EFL 3PL Sri Lanka, Dr. T. Sivakumar, Senior Lecturer from the Department of Transport Management and Logistics Engineering, University of Moratuwa, and Mr. Mayukha Abeyratne, the Strategy and Growth Lead at Hemas Mobility Sector.
