The NSBM Hindu Society organized “Vaani – Vizha 2022”, a ceremony to mark the Hindu festival “Navaratri” on 5th October 2022 at NSBM Green University premises.

Navratri is a sacred Hindu festival celebrated annually in the months of September and October. This festival symbolizes and celebrates the victory of good over evil, positivity over negativity, light over darkness, and wisdom over ignorance.

NSBM Hindu Society celebrated this auspicious festival in a unique ceremony with ritual observances, music, religious recitals and decorations to observe the vibrant Hindu traditions and underline the significance of the festival.

The ceremony was graced by Prof Chaminda Rathnayake, Deputy Vice Chancelor of NSBM Green University, Prof Bharatha Dodankotuwa, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Mr. Kasun Dissanayake, Head of Student Affairs, Mr. Naji Saravanapavan, Master in Charge of NSBM Hindu Society, academics, non-academics, students of NSBM.
