The Department of Legal Studies of NSBM Green University had the honour of hosting Former High Court Judge Mrs Kusala Sarojani Weerawardane on 5th April 2024 at the Green Boardroom, NSBM Green University, to deliver an insightful session to the LLB undergraduates on “Practical Aspects of Burden of Proof in Criminal cases”.

The session was graced by the presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Business, Ms. Thilini De Silva, Head of the Department of Legal Studies, Prof. Shanthi Segarajasingham, and lecturers attached to the Department of Legal Studies.

This invaluable session fostered an environment of intellectual curiosity and critical inquiry, empowering the next generation of legal minds to uphold the principles of fairness and equity in their future endeavours.
