In a significant milestone for NSBM Green University, the Engineering Premier League (EPL) cricket tournament organised by NSBM’s Faculty of Engineering unfolded at NSBM Phase 2 Grounds on 13th January 2024.
The picturesque NSBM Phase 2 Grounds and the newly opened pavilion provided the perfect backdrop for this first-ever cricket tournament, which marked the inception of the university’s cricketing legacy. The tournament brought together students and staff at NSBM, creating an unforgettable day filled with unity and friendly competition.
Adding grandeur to the occasion, the Deputy Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayaka, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodnkotuwa, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Chandana Perera, and academic staff members graced the event with their presence.
As the battles on the cricket field concluded, victorious teams emerged, receiving well-deserved prizes and accolades for their outstanding performances.
