The Faculty of Science at NSBM Green University joyfully commemorated its second year of excellence in nurturing the next generation of science graduates, a journey dedicated to empowering the nation with knowledge and innovation. To mark this significant milestone, the Faculty of Science hosted the Young Scientists’ Day on April 5th, 2024 at NSBM Auditorium.

This occasion was graced by esteemed guests, including the Deputy Vice Chancellor of NSBM Green University, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, and the Dean of the Faculty of Science, Dr. Nuwanthi Katuwavila, alongside Deans from other faculties, distinguished academics, and members of the NSBM community. The event was further enriched by two captivating keynote speeches delivered by Prof. Nalin de Silva, Chair Professor at the Department of Chemistry, University of Colombo, and Ms. Kavindra Rajapaksha, Chief Marketing Officer at Sunshine Consumer Lanka.

Additionally, the Faculty of Science unveiled the third edition of its Annual Magazine, “IN VISION,” centered around the theme of Artificial Intelligence and Science, adding an extra layer of depth and insight to the celebratory proceedings.
